H&D Quality Builders began in 1990. We started small, with just two owners/employees and a secretary who worked part time. The original focus of H&D was agricultural and residential remodels, repairs and small scale construction projects. We’ve grown quite a bit since; just two years after the company was founded, we became a Borkholder Buildings dealer and started building post-frame buildings for residential and agricultural projects as well as custom homes, commercial buildings and equestrian facilities.

In 1994, we started something that H&D Quality Builders has become well known for in the Peoria and Bloomington/Normal area: the construction of churches. We constructed an addition to an existing church which included a gym, kitchen, classrooms and activity center. From that time forward, church additions and new constructions have become a specialty of the company. H&D Quality Builders is now able to handle projects of all sizes and types, ranging from new construction duplex developments and custom built homes, commercial buildings, stables and other equestrian facilities, churches and many others. We can build, repair or remodel virtually anything – if you have any questions about your project, please get in touch. In 2008, we started a new business called Cool Roofs, which offers metal roofing for homes and other residential buildings. We wanted to be able to offer our customers a superior alternative to conventional roofing materials; metal roofing can last a lifetime and requires only minimal maintenance.

 It’s part of our commitment to providing the greater Peoria area with the best quality, service and prices in the industry. That is one of the reasons why we made the decision to relocate to a our current location –  to reduce our overhead costs and give our customers an even better value for their money.
